Gosport Profile

The Gosport Profile provides an overview of social, economic and environmental information for Gosport Borough, using the latest available statistics from a variety of national and local sources. Where possible this is compared to past data in order to show trends within the Borough to help inform future policy.

The Gosport Profile provides information to support the Council's policy documents such as the Local Plan and forms the baseline information for the Sustainability Appraisal.

The Gosport Profile consists of a number of sections each of which consists of headline key facts and charts, graphs and tables showing relevant data.

This includes area and geography, climate change, transport and accessibility, population and households, employment, economy and education, heritage and design, health and wellbeing, housing, crime and disorder, towns and neighbourhood centres, leisure, biodiversity and geodiversity, landscape, open space, water management, waste management, and energy resources.
