Regenerating Gosport's Waterfront

Gosport has a huge, once-in-a-generation opportunity to revitalise and maximise the potential of the town's waterfront.

Gosport Borough Council has a long-term plan to transform the historic waterfront into a vibrant, accessible public space where residents and visitors can connect with the town's rich maritime heritage and culture.

The programme is made up of a number of different projects that are funded in different ways but will complement each other. These will be delivered in a series of phases over the coming years, subject to funding.

Together they will help create an improved, unified waterfront experience for residents, visitors and businesses alike.

Our current projects

Public realm on the waterfront

We are exploring improvements like upgraded pathways, art installations and coherent signage.

Renovation of the Rum Store

We are working with UK Docks to renovate a derelict Grade II listed building in the heart of Royal Clarence Yard.
