The Council's top priority is the health and wellbeing of our residents, people who work in the Borough, and our staff. We're working hard to continue to provide our services while ensuring the safety of residents.

We are open on Mondays & Tuesdays from 9am to 5pm. Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 10am to 2pm for essential pre-booked appointments and payments at the cashiers' desk. Please note the cashiers' desk will close at 4:45pm on Mondays & Tuesdays.

Appointments can be booked by telephone (see below).

Council staff are continuing to work from home and the Town Hall and we are continuing to deliver our services to the community.

Members of the media can contact a duty communications officer on 023 9284 1783 or , 8.30am-5pm Mon-Fri

Out of hours

The Council's out of hours service managed by Streetscene deals with emergency calls when the council offices are closed. An emergency is defined as events or incidents involving significant risk to life, limb or property. The service does not deal with general enquiries or non-emergencies that are able to wait until the next working day.
