Following the latest government Coronavirus advice, which includes minimising social contact, Gosport Borough Council is taking the sensible precaution to protect the public by reducing non-essential council services.

The decision has been taken to suspend the housing waiting list for the foreseeable future.  This means that you will not be able to apply to join the allocation scheme for social housing.

If you do have an urgent housing related enquiry, please contact the housing advice team as follows:

Vivid homes have advised that:

In response to the Government's latest update regarding the Coronavirus, we have taken some immediate decisions within Lettings to ensure that they are complying with Government guidance, but also continuing to deliver a service for emergency situations.

They will be contacting all of their applicants to advise that they are putting things on hold for 3 weeks.  They will still be considered for the property and they will be in regular contact with them.

They will be cancelling any sign-up appointments that have been booked from now moving forwards unless they are emergency circumstances.

They are also postponing their mutual exchange applications for the next 3 weeks.
