2019 Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places

2019 Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places

The Borough Council is required by Section 17 of the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013, and also under Section 18 of the Representation of the People Act 1983 to carry out reviews of Polling Districts and Polling Places for the Parliamentary Constituency.

The review will not consider the boundary of the Parliamentary Constituency, and the arrangements put in place following the review will be used for all Local Government elections.

There will then be a second period of consultation on these draft proposals (1 July through to 30 August 2019), before submission to the Council's Policy and Organisation Board and then Full Council for approval.
