NOTICE OF INTENDED DEDICATION OF LAND
Notice is hereby given under section 123 (1) (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Gosport Borough Council intends dedicate a parcel of open space land in favour of Hampshire County Council. The parcel of land forms part of the proposed Gosport Water Front (Bus Station) Redevelopment and is shown edged in red on drawing number HCCSPCO-ATK-HGN-C591-DR-CH-1009 (PDF, 308 KB) ('the Open Space Land').
The Open Space Land is to be dedicated by Gosport Borough Council as highway maintainable at the public expense. Hampshire County Council is the highway authority for the area and the Open Space Land is intended to be used for short term parking. No consideration is to be paid by Hampshire County Council for the dedication.
Drawing number HCCSPCO-ATK-HGN-C591-DR-CH-1009 (PDF, 308 KB) may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours, Monday to Friday inclusive (bank and other public holidays excluded), in reception at Town Hall, High Street, Gosport PO12 1EB.

Any person who objects to the proposed disposal of the above mentioned parcel of land should notify Mr. Peter Baulf, Head of Legal Gosport Borough Council and MO, of Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth PO1 2AL, of the said objection by writing or by email (Peter.Baulf@portsmouthcc.gov.uk) by 12 noon on 14 June 2023.
