New council housing updates

Below are the latest updates on our three current housing sites, where we're delivering new council homes - Glebe Drive, Stoners Close, and Wheeler Close

Glebe Drive

Work is progressing on schedule. The foundations and substructure of the three buildings are now complete, as are the beam and block floors. The internal and external block work walls are up to first floor level

Stoners Close

Work is progressing on schedule. The building foundations and substructure are now complete, and bem and block floor is now complete on six of the seven plots. Works are underway on the internal and external leaf brick work.

Wheeler Close

Works have unfortunately been delayed due to an unknown service pipe, which is unclaimed by all utility providers. Further investigations are ongoing to identify the owner and to be able to progress works.

Work is expected to progress at pace once the matter is resolved - in the meantime resources are able to be diverted to increase the pace at Stoners Close and Glebe Drive.
