What's On In Gosport 2024 - events guide

We've had a great response to our request for events happening in Gosport from April - December to inlcude in our guide which will be available by the end of March and also available on line at this page.

In addition to the Guide, events being staged that are known to the council are also listed by month below. If you have an event you would like to add to this listing please complete the form and if it is approved we will include it.

Please note that if your event is on council land you will still need to submit a Land Booking Form and you may also need to submit a SAG (Safety Advisory Group) Notification. For more information please visit our Planning An Event pages or email for more information. 

Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd March

Gosport Winter Beer and Cider Festival @ Thorngate Halls, Bury Road, Gosport, PO12 3PX

Portsmouth and South East Hampshire CAMRA Winter Beer and Cider Festival has over 40 Real Ales, Ciders and Perries available for you to try. The festival is held over 2 days with two sessions on Friday 1st March and one session on Saturday 2nd March.

The first session on Friday is from 12 noon to 4pm and has no live music. The later session on Friday is from 6pm to 11pm and features live music from Spinnaker Brass and Sykick Surfers.

The Saturday session is from 12 noon to 8pm and has live music from the Compton Organ and Sykick Surfers.

Alverstoke Michaelmas Fayre from 11am- 4pm

A community event orgnaised by Gosport Rotary Club with Alverstoke Church.  Various stalls ranging from local crafts and charities, entertainment and fun fair.  Fun for all the family!

Shore Leave Haslar Open Day @ Haslar Memorial Garden, Haslar Road, Gosport

Gosport Home and Well Hub - Nimrod Community Centre, 17 Falcon Meadows Way, Gosport PO13 8AA

We are delighted to announce that alongside SGN Energy we will be facilitating a Home and Well Hubs in Gosport every month for the next 2 years.Working in partnership SGN and The Princess Royal Trust for Carers will bring together a large network of local community partners to proactively support carers with tailored support services across Hampshire that help to tackle fuel poverty and introduce energy safeguards that help those most vulnerable maintain a safe and warm home.The partnership is designed to work alongside the Home and Well partnership in Hampshire, providing proactive and preventative support services increasing the support available to carers and those they care for. The shared ambition is to reduce the potential impact on the NHS service and prevent hospitalisation for high-risk people as a result of living in a cold and unhealthy home.The Home and Well Hub is a 'ONE STOP SHOP' for Carers. It is a central point where many agencies come together to offer support, advice, information, and guidance to all Carers. Carers can access relevant information to support their needs, and the needs of the person they care for.A selection of newspapers is available to enjoy at the Hub and we also provide crossword puzzle books, games, and jigsaws for the Carers and their cared-for. Light refreshments are also provided. Carers can enjoy a healthy lunch and their cared-for are most warmly welcomed.

Residents of Gosport bring their broken items to fix them on the spot with the help of voluntary repairers. Events run on the second Saturday of every month (except August), between 10:30am and 1pm, at the community maker space in Quay Lane, Hardway we are on facebook: Supported by Hampshire County Council

A FREE service but donations towards running costs are encouraged.

Every Sunday - Free Taster Session - Lee on Solent Tennis Club

41-47 Manor Way, Lee on the Solent, PO13 4JQ from 9am-7pm (last booking)

Every Sunday we are open to the public for a FREE taster session choose from one of the following, tennis, squash, gym, snooker, table-tennis, racket ball or steam & sauna,  please contact reception 02392550381 to book and you are also welcome to use bar and book a table for Sunday Roasts, Adults £8.95 junior £5.50.
