Working together in partnership with Gosport and Fareham Friends of the Earth
In December 2021 Gosport Borough Council carried out work with Gosport and Fareham Friends of the Earth in the Kings Road Play area on a project of enhancing the area with native wildflowers, trees and a hedgerow. This is part of a biodiversity project to attract and support insects and to help combat climate issues. Planting of a natural hedgerow along the concrete wall that borders with the industrial units took place on the 3rd December 2021. It was good to see so many members of the public supporting the event. We hope that local residents will enjoy watching over this part of the project as it grows over the coming years.
