Possibly the most important aspect of Gosport In Bloom is to stimulate interest in the next generation of gardeners by encouraging local schools to include gardening in their activities. The schools in Bloom competition is aimed at getting children growing food plants, providing a home for wildlife and adding art and sensory features to their environment.

We thank all teachers and gardening club volunteers for their work that makes this competition possible. This year we have a new Schools In Bloom logo following a deluge of entries for our new logo competition, thankyou to everyone that sent in an entry, we really enjoyed judging all of the beautiful In Bloom themed designs
.
As with all competitions there could only be one design selected as the new Schools In Bloom logo, congratulations go to Ella-Marie Smith, who submitted the design below and is now being used on all of our Schools In Bloom literature and banners.
