Election employment opportunities

The Returning Officer for the Borough of Gosport needs people to carry out various duties at election time which is nearly always the first Thursday in May.

This may involve working at a Polling Station which is open from 06:30am to 10:00pm, assisting with issuing or opening postal votes or the verification and counting of ballot papers following the close of the Poll.

If you are at least 18 years old and interested in working for us at election time please send an e-mail with your name, address and telephone contact number so that Electoral Services staff can create your account on the Mobile Election Application (MEA), which is the secure system used to check availability and issue of jobs to staff.
