Proposed Development in Conservation Areas

The Borough Council, in considering development proposals, will be looking to see a positive enhancement of the area. Development which is considered detrimental will not normally be permitted. To help prevent unsympathetic development in Conservation Areas there are a number of additional restrictions on development.
