Service charges

A Gosport Borough Council leaseholder is a person who has purchased their flat or maisonette which was once owned by Gosport Borough Council.

Gosport Borough Council is still responsible for providing certain services and for the upkeep of the structure, exterior and communal areas of the block.

As a leaseholder, you have to pay a share of the cost of the services we provide, which are divided into three areas:

• Services - (Cleaning of communal areas etc.)
• Block Repairs
• Management costs   

How to pay your Service Charges?

• By Direct Debit form - leaseholders (PDF) [205KB]  on the 1st or 15th of each month.
• By Telephone: 023 9254 5686
• By  Standing Order - Housing (PDF) [109KB] monthly, weekly or fortnightly.
• At the Town Hall by visiting the cashiers between 9am and 4.45pm, Monday to Friday. 
• Online payments
• By Post: Send a cheque payable to 'Gosport Borough Council'.
