Annual bills will be posted on 20th March 2024 - **** Change to the first installment date - if you pay on the first of the month, then your 1st April 2024 instalment will be due on 8th April 2024. This change only affects your April instalment****
Council Tax Information
Gosport Borough Council is responsible for collecting the Council Tax. The main portion of this is distributed to Hampshire County Council, Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner and Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority, the remainder is kept by Gosport. This money helps to pay for the services provided throughout the Borough.
There is a charge for each domestic property based on its Valuation band. The person liable to pay is usually the owner or tenant.
