Gosport Youth Council
GYC - Group work

The GYC is a small group of young people who help to get the views of young people from Gosport heard.  It is an organisation run by young people for young people.  We represent you if you are aged between 11 and 19 and you live in the borough of Gosport. We tackle issues that affect you as young people and we get involved in projects such as Gosport Summer Passport, the Royanne Twinning and Youth Award.  We also set up our own website, where you can find out more information about the group and the work we have undertaken: https://gyconline.wordpress.com/

We are currently seeking views from young people on how to improve engagement and involve more young people from Gosport in the work that we do.  A short survey aimed at 11-19 year olds can be found via the link below:

Meetings are held regularly and if you would like more information, please contact Sam Mitchell by e-mailing: sam.mitchell@gosport.gov.uk or call 02392 545232 or text 07985 234367.
