We appreciate the difficult situation that many Gosport businesses are in as a result of the pandemic and are working hard to implement the various grant schemes and make payments as quickly and as diligently as we can. However as you will appreciate we are also currently assessing a large number of applications and responding to a high volume of related enquiries.
In addition to the previously announced grants that are outlined below, on 5 January 2020 the government also announced a one-off grant worth up to £9,000 for businesses in retail, hospitality and leisure sectors. Once we have received the full details of the scheme and the funding we will publish further information about it below.
Businesses that have applied for a Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) Tier 4 do not need to reapply for the grant for the national lockdown period from 5 January 2021 onwards.
