Gosport Borough Council works in partnership with a diverse range of voluntary and community sector organisations which provide both opportunities and services to Borough residents and visitors alike.
The Council understands its role as part of the fabric of the local community and not an entity outside of it. Working in partnership helps us to improve our understanding of local issues and local needs and the opportunity to draw upon the expertise and knowledge held by committed staff and volunteers of local groups to address local concerns.
Compact for Gosport
The Council is pleased to be a signatory to the One Compact for Hampshire and the Codes of Good Practice which serve to recognise and strengthen the commitment of statutory and voluntary and community sector organsiastions to work together.
