Gosport Residents Spoilt For Choice

Residents are spoilt for choice for things to do this weekend in Gosport, as the Borough Council provide a busy weekend of entertainment and all for FREE.
 
For those who like music the incredible 3-day Music Festival at Walpole Park, begins this Friday 29 June to 1 July, where you can enjoy 70’s favourites such as Slade and Mungo Jerry along with top new acts Gilkicker and T’rese who are about to take the world by storm. Whatever your taste in music you are sure to find something to suit.
 
The Festival runs from        -           6pm to 11pm on Friday
                                                            1pm to 11pm on Saturday
                                                            1pm to 10.45 on Sunday
So get yourself down to Walpole Park this weekend for a fun time.
 
If you fancy something different then why not visit Grange Farm at Rowner on Sunday 1 July and discover your hidden talents. Yes you can put your artistic flair to the test at one of the various workshops. Whether your passion is photography, sketching, designing or music there will be something for everyone.
 
Drum runners, percussion workshop will be showing all comers how to make drums out of junk
and with team effort make rhythmic music to capture the beat of the surrounding countryside. The
event runs from 1 to 4pm and once again is FREE
