The ‘Local’ election for all Gosport Wards will take place on Thursday 6 May, with the date of the ‘General’ or Parliamentary election yet to be decided.
The General election may be held on the same day, but whatever date is chosen, it will be before 3 June.

If you’d like a postal vote the team can help with that too. Alternatively you can download an application form at www.gosport.gov.uk to complete and return it to Electoral Registration Officer, Gosport Borough Council. Town Hall, High Street. Gosport. PO12 1EB.
The closing date for Postal Vote applications is 11 working days before polling day (excluding bank holidays and weekends). To ensure you’re not caught out by a sudden election, why not apply to vote at All Elections now. You will then receive a postal vote for any elections at which you are entitled to vote.
