Age Concern - Older Lesbians, Gay Men and Bisexuals in the UK

Age Concern provides information on their website for older lesbians, gay men and bisexuals in the UK.   The website contains information about their campaign to reduce the inequalities experienced by the above groups.  Free training and resources are available offering advice to lesbian, gay and bisexual people to ensure their needs are met.

Inscape

Inscape embraces the sexuality, diversity and healthcare needs of the local community enabling people who are from sexual minorities such as gay, lesbian and bisexuals, to access specialist NHS/Primary Care Trust support and health care based on their needs.  They are based in Portsmouth but their services also cover the South East Hampshire area, including Gosport, Fareham, Havant and Petersfield boroughs.  Confidential face-to-face support work and a drop in service is available to people who are unsure or worried about their sexuality and sexual health.  Inscape works closely with different Black and Minority Ethnic groups, women, people who are HIV positive young people and people with learning difficulties.  There is also a dedicated outreach team who focus on real issues facing men and women from the gay community.
