Equality and Human Rights Commission
The Equality and Human Rights commission
replaced the Equal Opportunities Commission in 2007. They still carry out functions of the Equal Opportunities Commission but also protect
the areas of age, gender, race, religion and belief, sexual orientation
and gender reassignment. Their function is to enforce equality
duties and eradicate discrimination, influence policy's and commission
research.

Press for Change is a political lobbying and educational organisation who campaigns to achieve equal civil rights and liberties for all transgender people in the United Kingdom, through legislation and social change. You will find details about the legal, medical, political and social issues surrounding the people it represents and should help you report accurately and fairly.
Chrysalis
Chrysalis is a registered charity with Meeting Centres
in Southampton, Portsmouth area and Bournemouth area for people who have Gender Dysphoria. They provide help and support for people over 18 with gender identity issues,
sometimes referred to as Trans-gender
or Transsexual
people. Each Meeting Centre has a Counsellor,
Gender Advisor and support workers.
