Age Concern and Help the Aged have joined forces to become Age UK. Age UK works with older people to protect them against age discrimination, prevent poverty and help them lead a happy and healthy lifestyle. Locally the Charity provides advice, advocacy, runs Day Centres and offers help within the home.
The Employers Forum on Age
The Employers Forum on Age (EFA) is an independent network of over 170 leading employers who recognise the value of an age diverse workforce. They support members in creating an age neutral workforce, campaign against age discrimination and advise the Government on age policy related issues.
TAEN
TAEN - The Age and Employment Network works to promote an effective
labour market that serves the needs of people in mid and later life,
employers and the economy. The Age and Employment Network is an independent not-for-profit
organisation, working in strategic partnership with Age UK. They inform and advocate for effective age management policies to be
adopted at all levels – in employing organisations, by individuals and
across the labour market.
