Town Centres - Retail, Leisure and Office Study September 2007
Gosport Borough Council commissioned GVA Grimley to undertake a town centre retail, leisure and office study. The study provides the evidence for the commercial policies and proposals in the forthcoming Local Development Framework with particular reference to the amount of floorspace that needs to be allocated for future development.
The study undertook a comprehensive review of all the retail centres, assessing their capacity to accommodate future growth in retail and leisure with particular emphasis on the Town Centre and the two District Centres of Stoke Road and Lee-on-the-Solent.
