The LDF is a folder of local development documents that will guide the future development of Gosport.
The Council has prepared the following LDF documents :
Local Development Scheme (LDS) - a timetable for the production of LDF documents
Core Strategy DPD - the main document providing the overall development strategy for Gosport
Site Allocations and Delivery DPD - provides detail about site allocations and development management policies
Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) - details the Council's approach to consultation
Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD) - provides more detailed guidance based on policies in the development plan documents (DPD).
Until the Core Strategy and/or the Site Allocations and Delivery documents are adopted the
Local Plan Review is the statutory development plan.
Planning policy guidance note
The Borough Council is considering introducing a policy guidance note based on an existing Local Plan Review policy in order to secure training and employment measures as part of new development proposals requiring planning permission. The Borough Council is therefore seeking views on its
draft guidance note. Please complete the
questionnaire.
A Glossary has been compiled to explain the terms used in all the LDF documents.
