Children's Fun Run - Sunday 17th November 2013 at 10.20am
Started by the Mayor of Gosport this 1.2km run for children under 12 year's of age commences on the grassed area of Stokes Bay (opposite the Diving Museum), passes through Stanley Park and finishes at Bay House School. There is a trophy for the winning boy and girl.
The race is hosted by Gosport Road Runners and children from the Borough are invited to take part.
All finishers receive a medal and a goodie bag adn there is an opportunity for them to have their medal engraved and purchase a T-Shirt.
Children have to be accompanied by a parent/guardian to register on the day at Bay House School. The cost is £2.00 per child.
The fun run takes place twenty minutse after the massed start of the Gosport Half Marathon Road Race in Browndown Road when 1,600 adult runners are expected to participate.

Return to Sport Bowls Sessions
Learn to Play Bowls as part of an 8-week programme which is being held at Forton Bowls Club, Forton Rec, Forton Road, Gosport.
Takes place on Fridays at 10am – 12noon
Starts Friday 19th July until Friday 6th September
Cost: £16 for 8 weeks.
Bowls and refreshments provided.

Running England 3-2-1
Local running groups organised by Running England group leaders have been set up in all parts of England. Find a group near you by logging onto www.runengland.org.
We're making running available and accessible for everyone, with running groups being created for women and mixed gender, schools, work places and families. Our programme is about helping you to exercise every week no matter your age, shape, size or ability. There are groups for you to run with being created all over the country and trained Run in England group leaders to support you through those first steps - all at your own pace with no competition. So why not become a member and join us for some fun in a safe and social environment, and you can join with friends, family or colleagues.
