To be eligible to rent a hut you must be a Gosport or Lee-On-The-Solent Resident (proof to be provided). The huts are rented on a three year basis and re-entry on the waiting lists, for both sites, can be requested after this period. Rental is due from 1st April to 31st March annually. Charges are £710 per annum for Residents, a Senior Citizen (proof to be provided)rate of £535 per annum and £450 per annum for Disabled Residents (proof to be provided).
All rates are reviewed annually.
If in the event of a request to terminate the tenancy before the three year period, notice of three months in writing is to be provided to secure a refund of the remaining rental paid.
Disabled residents (proof to be provided) are able to hire a hut at Stokes Bay from May to August at a cost of £15.00 per week (reviewable annually). A refundable security key deposit of £5 is required.
The waiting lists at present are - Stokes Bay approximately six years and Lee on the Solent approximately three years; you may be on both lists at the same time.
