Gosport Market operates twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays
Situated in Gosport High Street between the best view of Portsmouth Harbour and the award-winning Discovery Centre, Gosport Markets offer up to sixty stalls with something for everyone. Currently a buzzing market the council have great plans to extend the range and variety of products on offer with themed markets, and to provide entertainment for shoppers on Saturdays.
With over ten venues offering al-fresco lunch or just a morning coffee or afternoon tea, Gosport Markets offer a complete experience.
To get to the Gosport Market....
By Train:
The nearest station is Portsmouth Harbour (not Portsmouth and Southsea). The Gosport Passenger Ferry is 90 metres approx. from the station entrance and offers a frequent (quarter hourly) service.
Gosport High Street is a short walk from the Ferry Terminal.
Taxis and buses are also available.
By Car
From M27
Leave the M27 at Junction 11 and join the A27, signposted Fareham.
At the second junction join the A32, signposted Gosport.
Continue on this road for approximately five miles into Gosport.
Pass the ferry and continue round into South Street where there is ample car parking.
From M3
Leave the M3 Junction 14 and join the M27. Follow the directions above.
