Energywatch has been set up by the Government to protect and promote the interests of gas and electricity consumers in Britain.
http://www.uswitch.com/ - A free, impartial online and phone based comparison and switching service that helps customers compare prices on a range of services including gas, electricity. This service meets the requirements of a voluntary code of practice laid down by the gas and electricity consumer watchdog, Energywatch (as mentioned above).
