The Private Sector Housing Team (PSHT) is available to assist 27,000 private sector housing occupants within the Borough, although sometimes we are also asked to visit Council and MoD homes as well.
The PSHT aims to achieve and maintain improvements in the private housing sector by using enforcement powers and grants where appropriate, and offering information and advice to all households irrespective of their tenure. PSHT is separated into three units:
