We are able to provide a 'lifeline' service to older people in the community which provides peace of mind for its customers and those that care for them. The service is a telephone-based alarm system that is provided a 24 hours day, every day of the year, providing help, support and security. Our control centre is run by Chichester Careline.
How does it work?
- by a simple press of a button
- the customer's details appear on screen
- there is instant two-way speech contact
- friendly and comforting support
- immediate response and reassurance while help is on its way
How much does it cost?
There are two levels of support available:
- Lifeline Unit - 24 hours, every day of the year - £6.81 per week
- Lifeline Unit Plus (as above) with the benefit of a weekly welfare visit - £9.93 per week
If you are in receipt of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit or Pension Credit there isn't a charge for this service.
