Local Housing Allowance - New rules for Private Tenants from 7th April 2008

A new form of Housing Benefit is being introduced called Local Housing Allowance. This is for tenants who rent properties from private landlords and will affect claims in Gosport from April 2008.

If you live in Council accommodation or other social housing Local Housing Allowance will not affect you.
