Self Assessment

As part of the CPA self-assessment process, and using defined guidelines, we have prepared various documents to describe and assist with the evaluation of GBC, the final copies are shown here

• Introduction - from the Leader of the Council and Chief Executive
• Setting the Scene - gives an overview of the Borough and sets the context for the Council.
• Corporate Self-Assessment - assesses our corporate effectiveness and ability to improve using four key lines of enquiry, covering ten themes.

  • 2. How has the Council set about delivering it priorities?
  • 3. What has the Council achieved/not achieved to date?
  • 4. In light of what the Council has learned to date what does it plan to do next?
• Self-scoring - how we score ourselves against the ten themes.

In addition to these general documents, we also have had to complete three diagnostic assessments on specific subjects:
