Concessionary Travel is available to the over 60's or disabled and can be obtained from the Cashiers in the foyer of the Town Hall. The applicant must bring proof of age (i.e. Birth Certificate, Passport) or disability (i.e. Yellow Card) and proof of address.
The Government has announced that
it will raise the age of eligibility for all travel concessions,
currently 60, in line with the changes in pensionable age for women
such that between 2010 and 2020 it will increase to 65. Please see the chart for more detail.
There is a choice of tokens or a Bus Pass (if you choose the pass we will need a passport sized photo.)
