On Wednesday 20 July 2011, local school children attended the Presentation Awards for Gosport's 'Schools in Bloom' competition. Held at Explosion! Museum, where Meridian's Fred Dinenage once again played host and presented the prizes.
Winners received anything from a Certificate of Excellence through to a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award, with every school that entered also receiving a Weather Vane and Rain Gauge as a prize. The Best School Category winner also received a fabulous Bug Hotel. The main awards were as follows:
