The Mayor (Councillor Edwards) (ex-officio), Chairman of the Policy and Organisation Board (Councillor Hook) (ex-officio) (P), Councillors Allen (P), Carter (P), Mrs Champion (P), Chegwyn, Mrs Cully (P) and Cully (P).

In accordance with Standing Orders Councillor Smith was nominated to replace Councillor Chegwyn for this meeting.

RESOLVED:  That Councillor Allen be elected as Chairman of the Editorial Panel for the Municipal Year 2004/2005.

ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN

RESOLVED:  That Councillor Carter be elected as Vice Chairman of the Editorial Panel for the Municipal Year 2004/2005.

RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting of the Editorial Panel held on 28 April 2004 be approved and signed as a true and correct record by the Chairman.

SEPTEMBER 2004 ISSUE – CONSIDERATION OF PROOF

Detailed consideration was given to the proof of the September 2004 issue of ‘Coastline’ (a copy of which is inserted in the Minute Book as Appendix ‘A’).

RESOLVED:  That the proof of the September 2004 issue of ‘Coastline’ be approved for publication subject to the amendments and various other corrections which were identified by the Panel.

Consideration was given to suggestions as to articles and inclusions for the publication in the next issue of ‘Coastline’:
