19. APOLOGY
An apology for inability to attend the meeting was submitted on behalf of Councillor Mrs Binfield.
20. MINUTES
RESOLVED: That the Minutes of the meeting of the Regulatory Board held on 4 December 2001 be approved and signed by the Chairman as a true and correct record.

21. APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING CONSENT
(NOTE: Councillor Edgar declared an interest in respect of planning application K.3998/3 - erection of first floor side extension and frontage canopy roof at 2 Ventnor Road, Gosport and Councillors Mrs Searle and Taylor declared an interest in planning application K.6311/6 - change of use of first and second floor from offices to 2 No dwellings at 85 Stoke Road, Gosport. Members left the meeting prior to consideration of the applications.)
[NOTE: Councillor Langdon requested that his objection to the recommendation to grant planning permission in respect of K.12568/3 relating to 34A Forton Road, Gosport, be recorded.]

The Director of Development and Environment submitted a report on applications received for planning consent setting out recommendations in each case.
RESOLVED: That decisions be taken on each application for planning consent, as set out in Appendix "A" hereto.
22. INFORMAL SITE VISITS - 12 FEBRUARY 2002
RESOLVED: That, for the benefit of Members who wished to take advantage of the opportunity, the Head of Democratic Services be instructed to arrange an informal site visit prior to the next meeting of the Board on 12 February 2002, in respect of the undermentioned application for planning consent -
K.15941 - Erection of two storey rear extension at 5 Falklands Close, Lee-on-the-Solent

23. EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC
RESOLVED: That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 4 and 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12(A) of the Act.
24. APPLICATION FOR A DOOR SECURITY REGISTRATION
Consideration was given to an exempt report of the Leisure and Health Services Manager (a copy of which is inserted in the Minute Book as Appendix "B") in connection with an application for a Door Security Registration.
RESOLVED: That the application for a Door Security Registration be approved.
25. APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF A DOOR SECURITY REGISTRATION
Consideration was given to an exempt report of the Leisure and Health Services Manager (a copy of which is inserted in the Minute Book as Appendix "C") in connection with an application for renewal of a Door Security Registration.
RESOLVED: That the application for a renewal of a Door Security Registration be not approved.
