A MEETING OF THE POLICY OVERVIEW AND SCRUTINY COMMITTEE
WAS HELD ON 8 OCTOBER 2003
Following the Council's review of the 'Proportionality Rules' on 8 October 2003 it was necessary to appoint a Chairman and Vice-Chairman for the Committee.
Councillors Mrs Angus (P), Carter, Edgar (P), Edwards (P), Mrs Elshaw (P), Mrs Gravell (P), Hayward , Kimber (P) Redrup (P) and Mrs Salter(P)
In accordance with Standing Order 2.3.6, notice had been received that Councillor Hook would replace Councillor Hayward for this meeting.
14. APOLOGIES
An apology for inability to attend the meeting was received from Councillor Hayward.
15. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN
RESOLVED: That Councillor Kimber be appointed as Chairman of the Committee for the remainder of the Municipal Year 2003-2004.
16. ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIRMAN
RESOLVED: That Councillor Hayward be appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Committee for the remainder of the Municipal Year 2003-2004.
The meeting commenced at 6.25pm and concluded at 6.27pm
