A MEETING of the COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF GOSPORT was held in the Council Chamber at the TOWN HALL, GOSPORT on TUESDAY, the ELEVENTH day of DECEMBER 2001 at 6.00 PM.

MINUTES
RESOLVED: That the Minutes of the Council Meeting held on 10 October 2001 be confirmed and signed.

MAYOR'S COMMUNICATIONS
(A) HOUSING STRATEGY SUBMISSION
The Mayor informed Members that if they required a copy of the Housing Strategy Submission, this was available from the Housing Services Manager.
(B) FULL MONTY
The Mayor advised Members that Mark Mudie and Brian Bayford were organising charity performances of the Full Monty in aid of both the Gosport and Fareham Mayors' charities. The event would be held at Thorngate Halls on 8 and 9 February 2002 and tickets were available from the Mayor's secretary.

(C) CHRISTMAS RAFFLE
The Mayoress drew the winning raffle ticket for the Christmas Cake donated by Councillor Hayward with the proceeds going to the Mayor's charities.
(D) MR R WILSON
The Mayor reported that Mr R Wilson would be leaving the Council's employment after 27 years following a varied career with the Authority and wished to place on record the thanks and best wishes of the Borough Council.

QUESTIONS PURSUANT TO STANDING ORDER 3.3
(A) A question standing the name of Councillor Redrup on the subject of the Electoral Register was answered by the Leader of the Council.
(B) Questions standing the name of Councillor Mrs Wright on the subject of Glendale Leisure was answered by the Chairman of the Community and Environment Board.
