AN EXTRAORDINARY  MEETING of the COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF GOSPORT was held in the Council Chamber at the TOWN HALL, GOSPORT on WEDNESDAY, the SIXTH day of APRIL 2005 at  5.30 PM.

ELECTION OF HONORARY FREEMAN
 
It was unanimously RESOLVED:
 
That, the Council, in pursuance of their powers under Section 249(5) of the Local Government Act, 1972, do hereby confer on the Falklands Veterans Foundation, the Honorary Freedom of the Borough of Gosport in recognition and acknowledgement of their eminent services to the Borough and the lives of Falklands Veterans and their families.
