(NOTE: The Board are required to receive a deputation(s) on a matter which is before the meeting of the Board provided that notice of the intended deputation and its object shall have been received by the Borough Solicitor by 12 noon on Thursday 26 February 2004.  The total time for deputations in favour and against a proposal shall not exceed 10 minutes).

PORTCHESTER CREMATORIUM JOINT COMMITTEE
PART I
 
 
 
 
To seek the Board's agreement to continue the Joint Committee arrangements for Portchester Crematorium and for the Borough Solicitor to be authorised to enter into the Revised Memorandum of Agreement for the crematorium and any other associated documents.
 
The report of the Borough Solicitor in connection with the above is attached herewith.

GOSPORT URBAN CENTRE HIGHWAY SCHEMES
PART II
 
 
 
 
To seek the Board's approval of the submission to the County Council of the schemes listed in Appendix B of the report for consideration for implementation in the Local Transport Plan programme.

GOSPORT NIGHT BUS SERVICE
PART II
 
 
 
 
"To seek the support of the Board for the provision of a night bus service for an initial period of six months, subject to adequate support funding being made available by the Government Office for the South East to the Gosport Community Safety Partnership.
 
To seek authority for the Director of Development and Environment to accept a tender and enter into a contract for a night bus service on behalf of the Gosport Community Safety Partnership.
 
To seek approval for the service to be reviewed within the initial six months".
