During Winter 2005, Gosport Borough Council carried out another survey of the Residents’ Panel (established through previous surveys).
The survey questionnaire was sent to 3030 addresses in the Borough, based on a core of just over 1000 respondents from the last survey, and topped up by random selection.
The selection of addresses was balanced to reflect the relative populations of each of the 17 wards in the Borough.
A total of 1326 questionnaires were returned.
What will be done with the results?
The Council will take these results and use them, where possible, to help shape Council policy and to improve the services that it provides to the community.

2. All percentages have been rounded up to one decimal place. This method occasionally creates a situation where the sum of the results does not equal 100%
3. Unanswered questions are not counted as a valid response.
