View Planning Applications
*
An on-line list of planning applications received and determined since August 1993 is available to view on this website and is updated on a daily basis. You may locate a planning application by:

  1. Searching for a unique reference number. This number is published on site notices, press adverts and letters from the council.

    For the application reference K9316/7 and K9316/8 - Fort Gilkicker the documents can be found here.

    For the application references 17425 and 17425/1 (Former Gosport Railway Station), the documents can be found here.

    For 17384/1, additional documents click here.

    For K16713/3 (Royal Clarence Yard) documents click here.

  2. Simple Search. Our search facility allows you to search by the applicant's name, agents name, site address or the approximate date when the application was registered or determined.
  3. Weekly Lists. The weekly lists provides a quick method of searching for applications registered or determined within a specified week and are available for the last 2 months

Comment on Planning Applications
To make a comment on an application locate the application by one of the above methods and select the 'Make Comment' button displayed near the top of the screen.
 
The Council can only consider comments on issues relevant to land use planning. Guidance on these issues is available from Planning Reception, Town Hall, High Street, Gosport during office hours or may be viewed on the Council's website, click here.
 
Appeals
When developers are dissatisfied with the decision of the Council on their applications they are entitled to appeal to the Planning Inspectorate. Where appeals have been lodged the information is shown on the progress tracking bar for each application detailed on this web site. Further details on the appeals process, including how to make comments, are available from the Planning Inspectorate web site on this link.

Planning Portal (www.planningportal.gov.uk)
You can now make, track and search for certain kinds of appeals online using the Planning Casework Service. The service currently only deals with cases in England. For either General public users, or Professional users.

You can also 'Make an appeal online' via the Planning Portal, for either General Public users, or Professional users. There is also a case search facility available
