Gosport Borough Council is responsible for collecting the Council Tax. The main portion of this is distributed to Hampshire County Council and Hampshire Police Authority, the remainder is kept by Gosport. This money helps to pay for the services provided throughout the Borough.
You can pay your Council Tax online by clicking here, a Change of Address form for Council Tax is available, this needs to printed, signed and returned to the supplied address. A Direct Debit form is also available here.
There is a charge for each domestic property based on it's Valuation band. The person liable to pay is usually the owner or tenant.
